Terms and Conditions

These terms govern the use of VSME-PRO: the self-service plans (SaaS), the Advisory plan and the related services.

Preliminary version: the provider's legal identity and the competent venue are being finalised and will be published in the validated terms before commercial launch.

Scope of the service

VSME-PRO is a software platform that supports SMEs and advisors in collecting ESG data and evidence and preparing a dossier aligned with the principles of EFRAG's VSME standard. Plans A–C are provided as self-service software (SaaS); plan D (Advisory) is professional support delivered by approved professionals, activated upon assessment of the request and at a dedicated fee.

Business users

VSME-PRO is intended exclusively for business users (companies, professionals, firms). By accepting these terms the user confirms acting for purposes related to their business or professional activity and not as a consumer. The public demo uses simulated data and does not constitute an official dossier.

Plans, prices and renewals

Published prices are VAT excluded. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancellation stops the automatic renewal but does not entitle to a refund of the period already paid, except as provided by mandatory applicable rules. Any mandatory withdrawal rights remain reserved under applicable law.

Declared limits of the service

VSME-PRO does not issue certifications, ESG ratings or assurance. The platform helps structure data, evidence and a VSME-aligned dossier. Any professional reviews do not constitute official validation, certification or a guarantee of banking outcome. Limited-assurance engagements remain the responsibility of qualified third parties. The service does not guarantee the outcome of any bank, commercial or tender assessment.

Inclusion via Bark & Beyond ESG Partner

The Knowledge Hub, Starter and AI-assisted plans are included for companies that join Bark & Beyond as ESG Partner within their sustainability program. The Advisory plan requires a separate fee because it includes consulting assisted by approved professionals. Eligibility as an ESG project is assessed case by case based on the company's industry.

Customer data and confidentiality

Company and ESG data entered in the workspace remain the customer's property and are stored on databases in the European Union. The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy notice, which forms an integral part of these terms.

Limitations of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the provider's liability is limited to the fees paid by the customer in the twelve months preceding the event. The customer remains responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data entered and for the use of the dossier in their own processes.

Acceptance

These terms are accepted via the dedicated checkbox at site registration (demo scenario creation) or when subscribing to a paid plan. The current version is always available on this page.

Governing law and venue

Italian law applies. The competent venue will be specified in the final version of the terms.
