Answer the bank's ESG questionnaire without starting over every time

The real problem

When an SME requests or renews a credit facility, accesses an S-Loan or applies for subsidised bank financing, it receives a structured set of ESG questions. The request arrives via a portal, a PDF form or the credit-rating platform the bank uses to process the file. The volume and technicality of the questions far exceed what an administrative manager can prepare in a few hours. An incomplete or inconsistent answer can slow the assessment, weaken the quality of the file and trigger further rounds of clarification.

What you're asked for

The typical content covers identity and governance data, energy consumption and Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse-gas emissions, workforce characteristics, health and safety, any sanctions or proceedings for corruption, and management-system certifications where present. Most of this information maps directly onto the VSME Basic Module datapoints, such as B1, B3, B8, B9, B10 and B11, with portions of the Comprehensive Module when the bank asks for emission-reduction targets or gender diversity in governance bodies. The overall scope is a portion of the VSME, not necessarily the whole standard.

How VSME-PRO turns it into a dossier

The workflow guides the collection of the required data with questions in Italian, suggests where to find internal evidence, utility bills, payroll, the safety org chart and Model 231 documentation, flags where a datapoint is missing or carries methodological uncertainty, and organises everything into a VSME-aligned structure. The logic is simple: instead of filling in the questionnaire directly, you build a structured VSME fascicolo and then adapt the answers to the form the bank requires. The fascicolo stays yours; the questionnaire is the first application.

What you get

A VSME-aligned fascicolo with the bank-questionnaire fields pre-filled, evidence linked to the corresponding datapoints, a quality check on the areas of uncertainty, and a concise operator brief to re-read before submission. No certification, no rating, no assurance: a traceable documentary base built with VSME logic and readable in the banking context too. The fascicolo stays available for later requests, renewal, another bank, a corporate client or a tender, with targeted updates instead of starting from scratch.
